We’ve been teaching lots of Christmas carols to our students. They’re getting pretty good at the lyrics! Even “bells of bobtails [sic? maybe?] ring” – sure, they don’t know what that means, but who does?

But how can you correct the 5-year-old who thinks “We Wish You A Merry Christmas” goes, “Good Taiwan to you, wherever you are”?

You can’t.
